Are you a skilled and experienced neurotech looking to take your career to the next level? Orlando Health is seeking a Senior Intraoperative Neurotech to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in the care and treatment of patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual with a strong background in intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring and the ability to lead a team.   1. Conduct intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring for patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures.
  2. Analyze and interpret the data collected during monitoring and provide real-time feedback to the surgical team.
  3. Collaborate with neurosurgeons and anesthesiologists to develop and implement appropriate monitoring protocols.
  4. Train and supervise junior neurotechs on monitoring techniques and procedures.
  5. Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and calibrated.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all monitoring data and procedures.
  7. Communicate effectively with the surgical team to provide updates and address any concerns or issues.
  8. Stay up-to-date on advancements in neurotechnology and incorporate new techniques and technologies into practice.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  10. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during the surgical process.
  11. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  13. Continuously assess and improve processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Uphold ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
  15. Demonstrate leadership skills by effectively managing a team and promoting a positive work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (Ionm) In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Neurodiagnostics, Neuroscience, Or Biomedical Engineering.

  • Certification In Ionm From The American Board Of Registered Neurophysiological Monitoring (Abret).

  • Proficiency In Various Monitoring Modalities, Including Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (Ssep), Motor Evoked Potentials (Mep), And Electroencephalography (Eeg).

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, And Other Members Of The Surgical Team.
