
Senior Certified Medical Assistant-Part Time

- Assist with clinical tasks: The Senior Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will be responsible for assisting with various clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Ensure quality care: The Senior CMA will utilize their expertise and knowledge to ensure the highest level of quality care for patients. This includes following established protocols and procedures, maintaining patient safety, and promptly addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Work as part of a healthcare team: The Senior CMA will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other medical staff, to provide comprehensive care to patients. This may involve participating in team meetings, sharing information, and coordinating care plans.
- Maintain patient records: The Senior CMA will accurately document all patient information, including medical histories, vital signs, and treatments administered. They will also ensure that all medical records are kept confidential and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Certification: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid Certification As A Medical Assistant From An Accredited Institution, Such As The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha).
Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working As A Medical Assistant In A Clinical Setting, With A Strong Background In Patient Care And Clinical Procedures.
Knowledge Of Electronic Health Records (Ehr): Proficiency In Working With Electronic Medical Records And Other Health Information Systems Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Navigate And Enter Data Accurately And Efficiently.
Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are A Must For A Senior Certified Medical Assistant. The Candidate Should Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Leadership Abilities: As A Senior Certified Medical Assistant, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Overseeing The Work Of Other Medical Assistants. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Supervisory Skills Are Required For This Position.
