- Coordinate appointments and manage schedules for patients in the Outpatient Cardiology department.
- Ensure efficient and timely delivery of healthcare services by closely monitoring and managing patient schedules.
- Communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to schedule and confirm appointments.
- Utilize scheduling software and systems to accurately input and maintain patient information and appointments.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing any concerns and answering any questions related to scheduling.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and seamless care for patients.
- Monitor and maintain the department's schedule to maximize efficiency and optimize patient flow.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of patient appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling.
- Assist in the development and implementation of scheduling policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the Outpatient Cardiology department, including but not limited to filing, data entry, and other tasks as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest scheduling protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Act as a liaison between patients and the healthcare team, addressing any scheduling conflicts or issues that may arise.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance scheduling and customer service skills.

Experience In Healthcare Scheduling: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience In Scheduling Appointments For Outpatient Cardiology Procedures Or Visits. This Includes Managing A High Volume Of Appointments, Coordinating With Multiple Providers And Departments, And Ensuring Timely And Accurate Scheduling.
