Welcome to Orlando Health, one of the largest and most reputable healthcare systems in Florida! We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team as a Quality Improvement- Trauma Program RN. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of care for our trauma patients and promoting continuous quality improvement throughout our Trauma Program. To excel in this position, you must possess strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for upholding the highest standards of patient care.   1. Provide high-quality nursing care to trauma patients within the Orlando Health system.
  2. Collaborate with the trauma team to develop and implement evidence-based practices for the care of trauma patients.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trauma care processes and make recommendations for improvement.
  4. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of care for trauma patients.
  5. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and outcomes.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care and treatment plans.
  7. Serve as a resource and mentor to other healthcare team members regarding trauma care and quality improvement.
  8. Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in trauma care and quality improvement.
  9. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations of Orlando Health and the Trauma Program.
  10. Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Orlando Health in all patient interactions and professional conduct.
  11. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  12. Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  13. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  14. Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to the achievement of departmental, organizational, and national quality goals.
  15. Provide support and assistance in emergency situations as needed.
  16. Serve as a patient advocate and ensure that patients' rights are respected and upheld.
  17. Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.
  18. Act as a positive representative of Orlando Health and the Trauma Program to patients, families, and the community.
  19. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and growth.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned by the Trauma Program Manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Rn License In The State Of Florida

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Trauma Nursing

  • Knowledge Of Quality Improvement Methods And Tools

  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree

  • Certification In Trauma Nursing Core Course (Tncc) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls)
