- Provide exceptional care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
- Utilize nursing skills and expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including documentation of care provided and response to treatment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure quality care and continuity of treatment.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Remain up-to-date on current nursing practices and procedures, as well as technological advancements in the field.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are taken into consideration in their care.
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills to assess and respond to changes in patients' conditions.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times, promoting a positive and welcoming environment for patients and their families.
- Actively participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based nursing practices.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to ensure efficient and effective operations within the CVICU.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and ethical standards to maintain a high level of professionalism and patient confidentiality.
Bls, Acls, And Pals Certifications.
Active Rn License In The State Of Florida.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Cvicu Setting.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Higher.
Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment, With Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills.
