  1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the respiratory therapy department.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of respiratory therapists, providing guidance and support as needed.
  3. Ensure adherence to all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
  4. Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the respiratory therapy department.
  5. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of respiratory therapy equipment and supplies.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with respiratory conditions.
  7. Provide hands-on respiratory therapy services as needed.
  8. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and training to staff.
  9. Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new respiratory therapy staff.
  10. Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in respiratory therapy techniques and equipment.
  11. Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with other departments to improve patient care.
  12. Ensure that all patient records and documentation are accurate and up-to-date.
  13. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support.
  14. Maintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with infection control procedures.
  15. Represent the respiratory therapy department in meetings and committees as required.
  16. Handle any issues or concerns related to the respiratory therapy department in a timely and professional manner.
  17. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to maintain the highest level of patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or Related Field.

  • Current State License As A Respiratory Therapist.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience As A Respiratory Therapist, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Or Leadership Role.

  • Certification As A Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt) Or Certified Respiratory Therapist (Crt) From The National Board For Respiratory Care (Nbrc).

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Respiratory Therapists.
