
Residency Coordinator, Sr
Welcome to Orlando Health, a leading healthcare organization in the Central Florida region. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Residency Coordinator, Sr to join our team. As a Residency Coordinator, Sr, you will play a key role in overseeing the administrative and operational aspects of our residency program. You will work closely with our program director and faculty to support the educational and professional development of our resident physicians. - Oversee the administrative aspects of the residency program, including coordinating schedules, managing resident evaluations, and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with the program director and faculty to develop and implement educational curriculum for resident physicians.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process for resident candidates, including coordinating interviews and communicating with potential candidates.
- Serve as a liaison between the residency program and various departments within the organization, as well as external organizations and agencies.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulations for the residency program.
- Organize and facilitate resident orientation and ongoing educational activities, including lectures, workshops, and conferences.
- Provide support and guidance to resident physicians, including addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during their training.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and resources to enhance the residency program and provide opportunities for residents.
- Coordinate and plan resident events, such as graduation ceremonies and social gatherings, to foster a sense of community within the program.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in resident education to continuously improve the program.
- Train and supervise administrative staff members who support the residency program.
- Maintain confidential and sensitive information related to residents and the program.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams within the organization to promote the residency program and recruit potential candidates.
- Handle any administrative tasks as assigned by the program director or senior leadership.
- Uphold the mission and values of Orlando Health and represent the organization in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or A Related Field.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Other Relevant Software Programs.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Residency Coordination Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Academic Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Acgme Accreditation Requirements And Regulations.
Excellent Organizational, Communication, And Interpersonal Skills With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Group Of Stakeholders.
