- Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the Orlando Health Rehabilitation Institute (OHARI) with warmth and professionalism.
- Assist rehabilitation therapists with patient transfers, exercises, and other daily tasks as needed.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure a positive and comfortable experience.
- Ensure patient safety by following proper procedures for handling equipment and assisting with transfers.
- Document patient progress and activities accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with therapists to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families by addressing any questions or concerns.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Attend trainings and meetings to stay updated on new procedures and protocols.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
- Proactively identify and report any equipment issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of OHARI's mission, values, and policies.
