- Provide exceptional respiratory care to patients with a variety of respiratory issues
- Administer and monitor respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed by physicians
- Assess and evaluate patients' respiratory status and response to treatments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and management techniques
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation
- Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment and supplies
- Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in respiratory therapy practices
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
- Demonstrate professionalism and compassion in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or Related Field From An Accredited Program
Current And Valid State License As A Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt)
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Setting, Preferably In Critical Care Or Emergency Care
Certification From The National Board For Respiratory Care (Nbrc) As A Registered Respiratory Therapist
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Respiratory Therapy Procedures, Equipment, And Techniques, Including Mechanical Ventilation And Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (Cpr)
