- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in the General Surgery Trauma unit.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on individualized needs and physician orders.
- Monitor and document patient progress, changes in condition, and response to treatments and medications.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and follow established protocols.
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, wound care, and medication management.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide timely and appropriate interventions.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort by maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Advocate for patients' rights and promote patient-centered care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Attend training and educational sessions to stay updated on best practices and new developments in the field.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Serve as a role model and mentor for new nurses and nursing students.
- Promote teamwork and collaboration among healthcare team members.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.
Current And Valid Registered Nurse License In The State Of Florida.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Surgical Or Trauma Setting.
Bls, Acls, And Pals Certifications.
Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills To Assess And Manage Complex Patient Situations.
