We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Women's PACU team for the night shift. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and utilize your specialized skills to provide post-operative care for women who have undergone gynecological surgeries. We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to our patients.   1. Provide high-quality and compassionate post-operative care to women who have undergone gynecological surgeries.
  2. Monitor patients' vital signs, assess their level of pain and comfort, and administer medications as needed.
  3. Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
  4. Educate patients and their families about post-operative care, including wound care, medication management, and potential complications.
  5. Utilize critical thinking skills to identify and respond to changes in patients' condition in a timely and effective manner.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  7. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  8. Serve as a resource and mentor for new staff members and students, providing guidance and support as needed.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
  10. Maintain professional standards of nursing practice and adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth through education and training.
  12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by promoting open communication, teamwork, and mutual respect.
  13. Represent Orlando Health in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  14. Comply with all regulatory and accrediting agency requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Florida

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Pacu Or Critical Care Setting

  • Specialized Training Or Certification In Women's Health Or Obstetrics

  • Ability To Work Nights And Weekends, As This Position Requires 12-Hour Shifts

  • Strong Critical Thinking, Communication, And Assessment Skills, With The Ability To Handle High-Stress Situations And Complex Patient Needs.
