- Provide exceptional care to critically ill female patients in the Women's ICU department.
- Collaborate with a dedicated and dynamic team to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and specialized knowledge to provide specialized care to women's health patients.
- Monitor and assess patient's condition, document findings, and communicate with healthcare team to ensure proper care.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Maintain a positive and compassionate attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities.
- Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs are met.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.

Valid Rn License In The State Of Florida: This Qualification Is Essential As It Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Met The Education And Training Requirements To Practice As A Registered Nurse In The State Of Florida.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn): Many Healthcare Organizations, Including Orlando Health, Prefer Candidates With A Bsn Degree As It Provides A Strong Foundation In Nursing Theory And Research, As Well As Advanced Clinical Skills.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Critical Care Setting: Women's Icu Is A Specialized Unit That Requires Nurses To Have A Strong Background In Critical Care. Therefore, Candidates Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience In An Icu Setting.
Certification In Critical Care Nursing (Ccrn): While Not Always Required, Having A Ccrn Certification Is Highly Desirable For Nurses Working In The Women's Icu. This Certification Demonstrates A Higher Level Of Knowledge And Expertise In Caring For Critically Ill Patients.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: Nurses Working In The Women's Icu Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Team Members. They Must Also Be Able To Work Collaboratively In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment. Thus, Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Vital Qualifications For This Role.
