1. Provide exceptional care to patients on the Women's unit, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
2. Utilize clinical skills and knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
3. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans for patients.
4. Monitor and record patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform other nursing procedures as needed.
5. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
6. Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care techniques.
7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
8. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
9. Continuously monitor and assess patient progress, and adjust care plans as necessary.
10. Act as an advocate for patients and their families, addressing their concerns and needs promptly.
11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain current knowledge of best practices in nursing.
12. Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, in-services, and educational programs as required.
13. Maintain professional development and licensure requirements.
14. Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Orlando Health in all interactions and responsibilities.
