Job Description

Orlando Health is currently seeking a dedicated RN to join our Women's Triage Unit team on the night shift. As an RN in our Women's Triage Unit, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families.   1. Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in our Women's Triage Unit.
  2. Assist in the assessment and management of patients' medical needs, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing treatments.
  3. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  4. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients and their families, providing education and emotional support as needed.
  5. Utilize strong critical thinking skills to assess and address patient needs in a timely and accurate manner.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  7. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  8. Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their rights and preferences are respected and addressed in their care.
  9. Participate in ongoing education and professional development to maintain and enhance nursing skills and knowledge related to women's health.
  10. Provide guidance and support to less experienced nursing staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  11. Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality and patient-centered care at all times.
  12. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure compliance and promote patient safety.
  14. Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions to stabilize and support patients.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the quality of care provided in the Women's Triage Unit, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Associate's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications

  • Active Florida Rn License

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Women's Triage Unit Or Similar Setting

  • Knowledge Of Obstetric And Gynecological Emergencies And Ability To Triage Patients Accordingly
