1. Provide exceptional care to patients with urogynecological conditions, following established protocols and procedures.
2. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans for patients, incorporating their physical, emotional, and social needs.
3. Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, following medication safety protocols.
5. Monitor patients' response to treatments and medications, reporting any changes or concerns to the physician.
6. Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care measures to promote optimal health and well-being.
7. Assist in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as pelvic exams and urodynamic testing, as directed by the physician.
8. Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote a safe and comfortable environment for patients during procedures.
9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is in working condition and properly stocked with supplies.
10. Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed in a timely and compassionate manner.
11. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and educational sessions to enhance knowledge and skills related to urogynecological care.
12. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of nursing practice, including maintaining patient confidentiality.
13. Continuously evaluate and improve nursing practice to ensure the delivery of high-quality and safe patient care.
14. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care for patients, including coordinating referrals and follow-up appointments.
15. Stay updated on current trends and developments in urogynecology to provide evidence-based care to patients.
