As an RN in our Renal Dialysis department, you will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring patient vitals, and providing education and support to patients and their families.   1. Provide exceptional patient care to individuals receiving dialysis treatment.
  2. Administer medications and monitor patient vitals according to established protocols.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  4. Educate and support patients and their families on dialysis procedures, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  5. Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
  6. Maintain a safe and clean working environment for patients and staff.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
  8. Continuously assess and monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
  9. Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
  10. Maintain a current RN license and participate in ongoing education and training related to renal dialysis.
  11. Serve as a patient advocate and ensure patient needs are met and concerns are addressed.
  12. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the renal dialysis department.
  13. Promote a culture of compassion, respect, and excellence in patient care.
  14. Follow infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of infections.
  15. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

  • A Valid Rn License In The State Of Florida: To Work As A Registered Nurse At Orlando Health, Applicants Must Possess A Current And Active Rn License In The State Of Florida. This Certification Demonstrates Specialized Knowledge And Expertise In The Care Of Patients With Kidney Disease, Which Is Essential For This Role.

  • Acls And Bls Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Basic Life Support (Bls) Certifications Are Required For The Role Of A Registered Nurse In Renal Dialysis At Orlando Health.
