Registered Nurse (RN) - Rapid Response Team (Part-Time, Days)

1. Assess patient needs and provide timely and appropriate care in response to critical situations.
2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement effective care plans.
3. Monitor patient progress and document observations, interventions, and outcomes.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
5. Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and management.
6. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
7. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
8. Respond to emergency codes and provide support as needed.
9. Remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.
10. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
11. Continuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training.
12. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
13. Assist with the orientation and training of new team members.
14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
15. Provide emotional support and compassion to patients and their families during difficult times.
16. Maintain confidentiality and respect for patient rights and privacy.
17. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
18. Act as an advocate for patients and their families.
19. Attend meetings and participate in committees as required.
