We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Peds Hematology/Oncology department.   1. Provide compassionate and specialized care to pediatric patients with hematological and oncological conditions.
  2. Assess, monitor, and document patient's physical and emotional well-being on a regular basis.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient's response.
  4. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  5. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  6. Ensure patient safety and infection control measures are followed at all times.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and reports.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  9. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and provide input on patient care.
  10. Remain current on advancements and best practices in pediatric hematology and oncology.
  11. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.
  12. Advocate for the needs and rights of pediatric patients and their families.
  13. Assist in the coordination of patient care and discharge planning.
  14. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve patient care processes and outcomes.
  16. Act as a role model for other nurses and healthcare professionals.
  17. Attend trainings, seminars, and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills.
  18. Foster a positive and respectful work environment.
  19. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and projects.
  20. Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all aspects of job performance.

Job Qualifications
  • Active And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Florida.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.

  • Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals) Certifications.

  • Strong Clinical Skills And Knowledge Related To Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Including Chemotherapy Administration, Pain Management, And Patient Education.
