Valid Rn License In The State Of Florida: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Current And Active Registered Nurse License In The State Of Florida. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met All The Necessary Educational And Training Requirements To Practice As A Registered Nurse In The State.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (Pacu): As A Full-Time Night Shift Position In The Pacu Department At Orlando Health, Candidates Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Capable Of Handling The Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment Of A Pacu Setting.
Bls And Acls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications Are Essential For Any Registered Nurse Working In A Hospital Setting. These Certifications Demonstrate The Candidate's Ability To Handle Emergency Situations And Provide Life-Saving Interventions When Necessary.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn): While An Associate's Degree Is The Minimum Requirement For A Registered Nurse, A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Is Preferred For This Position. This Higher Level Of Education Provides A More In-Depth Understanding Of Nursing Principles And Prepares The Candidate For Leadership Roles Within The Organization.
