  1. Provide exceptional patient care: As a Registered Nurse at Orlando Regional Medical Center, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional and compassionate care to our patients.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare team: You will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  3. Assess patients' needs: You will be responsible for assessing patients' physical and emotional needs and creating individualized care plans.
  4. Monitor patients' vital signs: You will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  5. Administer medications and treatments: As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  6. Educate patients and families: You will play a vital role in educating patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
  7. Document patient care: Accurate and timely documentation of patient care is essential, and you will be responsible for maintaining electronic medical records.
  8. Respond to emergencies: In the event of a medical emergency, you will be responsible for responding quickly and appropriately to provide lifesaving care.
  9. Adhere to safety protocols: You will be responsible for following all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself, patients, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Rn License In The State Of Florida: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Current And Active Registered Nurse License In The State Of Florida. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met All The Necessary Educational And Training Requirements To Practice As A Registered Nurse In The State.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (Pacu): As A Full-Time Night Shift Position In The Pacu Department At Orlando Health, Candidates Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Capable Of Handling The Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment Of A Pacu Setting.

  • Bls And Acls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications Are Essential For Any Registered Nurse Working In A Hospital Setting. These Certifications Demonstrate The Candidate's Ability To Handle Emergency Situations And Provide Life-Saving Interventions When Necessary.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn): While An Associate's Degree Is The Minimum Requirement For A Registered Nurse, A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Is Preferred For This Position. This Higher Level Of Education Provides A More In-Depth Understanding Of Nursing Principles And Prepares The Candidate For Leadership Roles Within The Organization.
