  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality medical care to patients in the Medical Care Unit.
  2. Monitor and assess patient's physical and emotional well-being, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
  5. Educate patients and their families on their medical condition, treatment plan, and self-care techniques.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  7. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
  9. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on current medical practices and procedures.
  10. Serve as an advocate for patients and ensure their needs are met.
  11. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  12. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times.
  13. Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  14. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  15. Serve as a positive and professional representative of Orlando Health to patients, families, and the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Current And Active Rn License In The State Of Florida.

  • Bls And Acls Certification.

  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Medical Care Unit, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.

  • Strong Clinical Skills, Including Proficiency In Administering Medications, Monitoring Patient Vital Signs, And Providing Specialized Patient Care.
