- Provide compassionate and skilled patient care to individuals in the Observation Unit.
- Utilize strong critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Continuously assess and improve the quality of patient care.

Valid Nursing License: A Registered Nurse (Rn) Must Hold A Valid Nursing License And Be In Good Standing With The State Licensing Board.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: Most Employers Prefer Candidates With A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, Although Some May Accept An Associate's Degree.
Experience In Observation Unit: Prior Experience Working In An Observation Unit Or Similar Acute Care Setting Is Highly Desired.
Critical Thinking Skills: Rns Must Possess Strong Critical Thinking Skills To Assess And Prioritize Patient Needs, Develop Care Plans, And Make Quick Decisions In Emergency Situations.
Bls And Acls Certifications: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications Are Required For Rns Working In An Observation Unit To Respond Quickly To Emergencies And Provide Life-Saving Interventions.
