1. Provide specialized nursing care to patients with cancer, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
2. Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient responses to treatment.
3. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
4. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
5. Monitor and report changes in patient condition, including symptoms and side effects of treatment, and make appropriate referrals as needed.
