Job Description

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a full-time/dayshift Vascular Access PICC RN. In this role, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient care and support for our patients with complex vascular access needs. In order to be considered for this position, candidates must hold a valid RN license and have a minimum of two years of experience in vascular access procedures.   1. Provide direct patient care and support to patients with complex vascular access needs.
  2. Perform vascular access procedures, including PICC line insertions and maintenance.
  3. Monitor and assess patient's vascular access sites for signs of complications.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  5. Educate patients and their families on the importance of proper vascular access care and maintenance.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, procedures, and outcomes.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experience.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and efficient care delivery.
  10. Stay current on advancements in vascular access procedures and techniques through continuing education and training opportunities.
  11. Serve as a resource and mentor to other nursing staff on vascular access procedures and best practices.
  12. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, related to healthcare and nursing practice.
  13. Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and upholding the organization's values and standards.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth and development.

Job Qualifications
  • Bls And Acls Certification

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution

  • Active Registered Nurse License In The State Of Florida

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Vascular Access, Specifically In Picc Line Placement

  • Certification In Vascular Access, Such As Crni Or Va-Bc
