  1. Assessing patient needs: The RN will be responsible for conducting thorough and accurate assessments of patients in the Emergency Department to determine their medical needs.
  2. Planning patient care: Based on the assessment, the RN will develop individualized care plans for each patient, taking into consideration their unique medical history and current condition.
  3. Implementing patient care: The RN will carry out the planned care for patients, including administering medications, providing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.

  5. Maintaining accurate records: The RN will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient in the Emergency Department.

  7. Providing emotional support: As a compassionate RN, you will be responsible for providing emotional support to patients and their families during what can be a stressful and frightening time.
  8. Ensuring patient safety: The RN will follow all safety protocols and standards to ensure the safety and well-being of patients in the Emergency Department.
  9. Staying up-to-date on medical practices: The RN will participate in continuing education and training to stay current on advancements in emergency medicine and provide the best care possible to patients.
  10. Demonstrating professionalism: The RN will uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and patient confidentiality while representing Orlando Health in a positive manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Florida

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Emergency Department Or Critical Care Setting

  • Bls, Acls, And Pals Certifications

  • Previous Experience With Triage, Assessment, And Treatment Of Patients With Various Medical Conditions

  • Strong Critical Thinking And Decision-Making Skills, With The Ability To Work Well Under Pressure And In Fast-Paced Environments.
