  1. Provide specialized care to patients with cardiovascular conditions in the Cardiac Intervention Unit.
  2. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  3. Administer medications and monitor patients' responses during cardiac interventions and procedures.
  4. Assess patients' physical and emotional well-being and provide support and education to patients and their families.
  5. Monitor and record patients' vital signs, lab values, and other pertinent information.
  6. Respond promptly to changes in patients' conditions and communicate any concerns to the healthcare team.
  7. Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly utilized and maintained.
  8. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
  9. Document all patient care activities accurately and timely.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with advancements in cardiac care.
  11. Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
  12. Demonstrate professionalism and compassion in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
  14. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in unit meetings and committees.
  15. Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with the healthcare team to provide high-quality care to patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Rn License: The Candidate Must Have An Active And Unrestricted Registered Nurse License In The State Of Florida.

  • Bls And Acls Certification: The Candidate Must Hold Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Certifications.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Cardiac Nursing Experience: The Ideal Candidate Will Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Cardiac Nursing Setting, With A Strong Understanding Of Cardiovascular Conditions And Interventions.

  • Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Must Possess Strong Critical Thinking Skills To Assess And Manage Complex Cardiac Patients, As Well As The Ability To Quickly And Effectively Problem-Solve In Emergency Situations.

  • Communication And Teamwork Skills: The Candidate Must Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Work Effectively In A Team-Based Environment. This Includes Collaborating With Other Healthcare Professionals, As Well As Providing Patient Education And Support.
