Job Qualifications
  • Valid Rn License In The State Of Florida: To Be Considered For A Registered Nurse, Behavioral Health Position At Orlando Health, Candidates Must Hold A Current And Active Rn License In The State Of Florida. This Ensures That The Nurse Is Licensed And Authorized To Provide Patient Care In The State.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn): A Bsn Degree Is Highly Preferred For This Role, As It Demonstrates A Higher Level Of Education And Knowledge In The Field Of Nursing. It Also Prepares Nurses For Advanced Roles And Leadership Positions.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Behavioral Health Nursing: Orlando Health Requires A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Behavioral Health Nursing For This Position. This Ensures That The Nurse Has A Solid Foundation And Understanding Of Psychiatric And Mental Health Care.

  • Bls And Acls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications Are Required For This Role To Ensure That The Nurse Is Proficient In Emergency Response And Resuscitation Techniques.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Registered Nurse, Behavioral Health At Orlando Health, It Is Important To Possess Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills. This Will Allow The Nurse To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals To Provide High-Quality Care And Promote Positive Outcomes.
