  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients in the Acute Care department at Orlando Health.
  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  3. Utilize critical thinking skills to assess patients' needs and respond appropriately to changes in their condition.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive healthcare experience.
  5. Adhere to established policies and procedures to maintain a safe and ethical work environment.
  6. Monitor and document patients' vital signs, medication administration, and treatment progress accurately and timely.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Is Required For A Registered Nurse, Acute Care Position At Orlando Health. This Degree Provides A Strong Foundation In Nursing Theory, Clinical Practice, And Leadership Skills.

  • Current Rn License: All Applicants Must Hold A Current And Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Florida. This License Is Issued By The Florida Board Of Nursing And Ensures That The Nurse Has Met All Educational And Competency Requirements To Practice Nursing.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Acute Care Experience: Orlando Health Requires A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Acute Care Setting For This Position. This Experience Allows The Nurse To Develop Expertise In Managing Complex Patients And Working In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Bls And Acls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications Are Required For This Position. These Certifications Demonstrate The Nurse's Ability To Respond To Emergency Situations And Provide Lifesaving Interventions.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: Registered Nurses In Acute Care Settings Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Patient Education. They Must Also Possess Strong Critical Thinking Skills To Quickly Assess And Respond To Changing Patient Conditions.
