Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition Or A Related Field: A Registered Dietitian In A Gastroenterology Practice Must Have A Solid Foundation In Nutrition And Healthcare. A Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field Is A Common Prerequisite For This Role.
Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn) Certification: This Certification Is Obtained Through The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr) And Is Required For All Registered Dietitians In The United States. It Ensures That The Individual Has Met The Necessary Education And Experience Requirements To Practice As A Dietitian.
