- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and other imaging modalities, in accordance with established protocols and safety measures.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide clear instructions and explanations to help alleviate any anxiety or concerns.
- Position patients correctly and use appropriate techniques to obtain high-quality images.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the most appropriate imaging techniques for each patient.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including images and other relevant information.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Continuously stay updated on new techniques and advancements in radiology technology.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing and implementing new protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure patient safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care.

- Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed to support the goals and objectives of the radiology department and the organization as a whole.
Degree In Radiologic Technology: A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Radiologic Technology Is Required For This Position. Candidates With A Bachelor's Degree Or Higher May Be Preferred.
Arrt Certification: Candidates Must Be Certified By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Radiography. Additional Certifications In Computed Tomography (Ct) Or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Mri) May Also Be Preferred.
Experience In Neurosurgery: Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Neurosurgery Setting. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Specialized Imaging Techniques And Protocols Used In Neurosurgery.
Attention To Detail: As A Radiology Technologist - Neurosurgery, Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Order To Accurately Capture And Interpret Images Of The Brain And Spinal Cord. Candidates Should Have A Strong Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Any Abnormalities Or Inconsistencies In Images.
