- Operate state-of-the-art radiology equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging services.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and answering any questions or concerns.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of radiology supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in radiology technology and procedures to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address patient needs and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Participate in departmental meetings and trainings to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.

- Comply with all Orlando Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Formal Education And Training: A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Radiologic Technology From An Accredited Program Is Required For This Role. Additional Certifications Such As Arrt (American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists) And State Licensure Are Also Preferred.
Experience In Ambulatory Imaging: Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Ambulatory Imaging Setting. This Includes Experience With Various Imaging Modalities Such As X-Ray, Mri, Ct, And Ultrasound.
Knowledge Of Radiology Equipment: Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Various Radiology Equipment Is Essential For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Safety Protocols, Positioning Techniques, And Image Processing.
Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills: Radiology Technologists Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. They Must Also Be Able To Work Well In A Team Environment And Have Strong Problem-Solving Abilities.
Flexibility And Adaptability: This Role Requires Individuals To Be Able To Work In A Fast-Paced And Ever-Changing Environment. Candidates Must Be Able To Adapt To New Technology And Procedures Quickly, As Well As Be Willing To Work Flexible Hours And On-Call Shifts As Needed.
