  1. Oversee and supervise the daily operations of the Radiology department, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management.
  2. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards related to radiology procedures.
  3. Perform and assist with diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, as needed.
  4. Train and mentor new Radiology Techs on department procedures, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
  5. Monitor and maintain the quality and accuracy of imaging results, troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and timely patient care.
  7. Develop and implement departmental policies and protocols to improve efficiency and patient outcomes.
  8. Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in radiology technology to continuously improve department practices.
  9. Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  10. Participate in performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to promote professional growth and development.
  11. Assist with budget planning and management for the Radiology department.
  12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff members.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Radiology Technologist (Crt) Or Registered Technologist (Rt) Through The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt)

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Radiology Tech In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting

  • Previous Leadership Experience, Such As Supervisory Or Management Roles

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Radiology Equipment And Procedures

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Well With A Diverse Team And Interact With Patients And Their Families.
