- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to improve nursing practices and patient care within the organization.
- Lead and manage special projects related to quality improvement and patient safety.
- Collaborate with various departments and teams to identify and address areas for improvement in nursing practices.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in healthcare delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines related to nursing practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive positive change and promote quality improvement.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage budgets for quality improvement initiatives and special projects.
- Facilitate trainings and educational programs to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated on current healthcare trends and best practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports and presentations on program progress and outcomes to senior management.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field: A Program Manager For Nursing & Special Projects At Orlando Health Should Have A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or A Related Field. This Will Provide The Necessary Knowledge And Understanding Of Healthcare Systems And Processes.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Nursing Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Nursing Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Organization. This Will Demonstrate Their Ability To Lead And Manage Nursing Teams Effectively.
Project Management Skills: The Program Manager Will Be Responsible For Overseeing Special Projects Related To Nursing And Quality Improvement. Therefore, Strong Project Management Skills, Including Planning, Organizing, And Monitoring, Are Essential For This Role.
Knowledge Of Quality Improvement Methodologies: Orlando Health Values Continuous Improvement And Strives To Provide High-Quality Care To Patients.
