
Physical Therapist-Outpatient Rehab

- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Create personalized treatment plans based on patient's individual needs and goals.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques to improve patient's physical mobility and functional abilities.
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and home exercises.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through participation in professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to provide excellent customer service.
- Assist in the maintenance and organization of equipment and supplies.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Act as a mentor and resource for other team members, including physical therapy assistants and support staff.
- Collaborate with insurance companies to obtain authorization for services and to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in community outreach and education programs to promote the benefits of physical therapy.
- Take on additional responsibilities and assignments as assigned by the supervisor.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the organization in a positive light.
Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Current State License To Practice As A Physical Therapist.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Outpatient Rehabilitation Setting.
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Treatments And Techniques For Various Musculoskeletal Conditions.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Patient Population.
