Job Description

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing individualized care and designing treatment plans to help patients improve their mobility, relieve pain, and restore function.   1. Conduct initial evaluations and assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.

  3. Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, and restore function.
  4. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  5. Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care.
  6. Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to continue at home.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  8. Adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal standards in patient care.
  9. Keep current with advancements and best practices in the field of physical therapy.
  10. Participate in continuous learning and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  11. Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment for patients and staff.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.
  13. Support a positive and collaborative team environment.
  14. Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve treatment methods and techniques.
  16. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
  17. Act as an advocate for patients, promoting their physical health and well-being.
  18. Attend and participate in team meetings, trainings, and other professional development opportunities.
  19. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned by supervising physician or management.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Physical Therapy (Dpt) Degree From An Accredited Institution: A Dpt Degree Is The Minimum Educational Requirement For A Physical Therapist Position At Orlando Health. This Degree Ensures That The Candidate Has Completed A Rigorous Program That Covers All Aspects Of Physical Therapy, Including Anatomy, Physiology, And Therapeutic Techniques.

  • State Licensure: All Physical Therapists At Orlando Health Must Hold A Valid License To Practice In The State Of Florida. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met All The Necessary Requirements And Is Authorized To Provide Patient Care.

  • Relevant Work Experience: Orlando Health Prefers Candidates With At Least 2 Years Of Experience In An Outpatient Rehab Setting. This Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Handle A Diverse Patient Population And Effectively Manage Treatment Plans.
