  1. Dispensing Medications: The primary responsibility of the Pharmacy Technician at Orlando Health is to accurately and safely dispense medications to patients. This includes verifying prescriptions, preparing and labeling medications, and ensuring proper dosage and administration instructions.
  2. Maintaining Inventory: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for monitoring and managing inventory levels of medications, supplies, and equipment. This includes ordering, receiving, and restocking medications as needed.
  3. Assisting Pharmacists: The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with pharmacists to assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications. This may include compounding medications, preparing IV solutions, and performing quality control checks.
  4. Patient Care: The Pharmacy Technician at Orlando Health will have a direct impact on patient care by ensuring that medications are dispensed accurately and in a timely manner. They may also assist in answering patient questions and providing medication education.
  5. Compliance: It is the responsibility of the Pharmacy Technician to comply with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the dispensing of medications. This includes maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety protocols.

Job Qualifications
