  1. Oversee and manage the patient access operations in the Emergency Department at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
  2. Ensure the smooth and efficient flow of patients through the ED, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  3. Lead and motivate a team of patient access representatives to provide exceptional patient care.
  4. Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve the patient access experience.
  5. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues related to patient access.
  7. Train and onboard new patient access representatives.
  8. Manage and maintain patient records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  9. Handle patient complaints and escalate any issues to the appropriate department.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in patient access and implement them as necessary.
  11. Participate in performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  12. Collaborate with other managers to ensure a cohesive and efficient healthcare system.
  13. Create and maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee satisfaction.
  14. Develop and manage department budgets and expenses.
  15. Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare laws and regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • 5+ Years Of Experience In Patient Access/Registration, Preferably In An Emergency Department Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Insurance Verification Processes.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients, Staff, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
