
Paramedic - ORMC PACU - Full Time / First Shift

- Provide emergency medical care to patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).

Valid Paramedic License: Candidates Must Possess A Valid And Active Paramedic License In The State Of Florida. This Ensures That The Individual Has Met All Necessary Training And Education Requirements To Practice As A Paramedic.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Setting: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Paramedic In A Hospital Setting. This Experience Will Demonstrate The Candidate's Ability To Handle Emergency Situations And Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications: Candidates Must Possess Both Bls And Acls Certifications To Be Considered For This Role. These Certifications Are Essential For Providing Emergency Care And Resuscitation To Patients In Critical Situations.
Knowledge Of Pacu Procedures And Protocols: The Role Of A Paramedic In The Pacu (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Pacu Procedures And Protocols. Candidates Should Have A Strong Knowledge Of Patient Monitoring, Pain Management, And Emergency Procedures In The Pacu.
