Welcome to Orlando Health's Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) team, where we are dedicated to providing exceptional emergency medical care to our community. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Paramedic to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals.As a Paramedic in our MICU, you will play a critical role in delivering life-saving treatment and care to patients in a pre-hospital setting. You will work closely with our team of Physicians, Nurses, and EMTs to provide rapid assessment, treatment, and transport of patients in need.At Orlando Health, we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and our passion for providing the highest level of care to our patients.   1. Provide rapid and high-quality assessment and treatment to patients in a pre-hospital setting.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including Physicians, Nurses, and EMTs to deliver exceptional emergency medical care.
  3. Administer life-saving interventions and medications according to established protocols and guidelines.
  4. Effectively communicate patient information and treatment plans to the receiving facility and other members of the healthcare team.
  5. Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment and vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient care records and documentation.
  7. Stay current on advancements in emergency medical care and participate in ongoing education and training.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  9. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during medical emergencies.
  10. Represent Orlando Health in a professional and compassionate manner at all times.
  11. Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.
  12. Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and a strong desire to make a positive impact in the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Paramedic Certification: Candidates Must Have A Valid Paramedic Certification From An Accredited Institution.

  • Previous Experience In Emergency Medical Services: Prior Experience Working As A Paramedic In A Fast-Paced, High-Pressure Environment Is Preferred.

  • Knowledge Of Advanced Life Support Techniques: Candidates Should Be Well-Versed In Advanced Life Support Techniques, Including Intubation, Medication Administration, And Cardiac Monitoring.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong Communication Skills Are Essential For Effectively Communicating With Patients, Family Members, And Other Healthcare Professionals In Emergency Situations.

  • Ability To Work In A Team: The Job Requires Working Closely With Other Healthcare Professionals, Including Emts, Nurses, And Physicians, So The Ability To Work Well In A Team Is Crucial.
