- Perform painting and related tasks to maintain and improve the appearance of Orlando Health facilities.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning and repairing as necessary.
- Select and mix paint and apply to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality and consistent results.
- Coordinate with other maintenance staff to schedule and prioritize painting projects.
- Maintain inventory of painting supplies and equipment, and report any needs to supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of equipment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, and properly dispose of all materials and equipment.
- Utilize knowledge of different types of paints and techniques to achieve desired results.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve painting skills.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines for painting in healthcare facilities.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to patients and staff during painting projects.
- Assist with other maintenance tasks as needed.
- Uphold Orlando Health's standards of excellence in customer service and patient care.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to providing exceptional workmanship.
Experience In Painting: The Candidate Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Painting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting. They Should Be Skilled In Using A Variety Of Painting Tools And Techniques.
Knowledge Of Safety Protocols: A Painter At Orlando Health Must Have Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Procedures, Including Osha Regulations. They Should Be Able To Work Safely Around Patients, Staff, And Equipment.
Attention To Detail: A Painter Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Produce High-Quality Work. They Should Be Able To Match Colors, Create Smooth Finishes, And Pay Attention To Small Details To Ensure A Professional-Looking Final Product.
Physical Stamina: This Job Requires Physical Stamina As Painters May Need To Stand, Climb, And Use Their Arms For Extended Periods. They Should Also Be Able To Lift And Move Heavy Equipment And Materials As Needed.
