- Provide high-quality and personalized care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Utilize strong clinical knowledge and skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and effective surgical environment.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and assist with procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and emotional support as needed.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and trainings to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring that their needs and concerns are addressed and resolved.
- Uphold Orlando Health's standards of excellence and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate professionalism and compassion in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Remain up-to-date with current practices and advancements in surgical patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Valid Rn License In The State Of Florida: A Qualified Or Rn At Orlando Health Should Possess An Active And Unrestricted Registered Nurse License In The State Of Florida.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn): A Bsn Degree Is Preferred For This Position At Orlando Health, Although Candidates With An Associate's Degree In Nursing (Adn) May Also Be Considered.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Or Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Recent Experience Working In An Operating Room Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Acute Care Facility.
Bls And Acls Certification: A Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification Are Required For This Position, As Per Orlando Health's Standards.
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: The Or Rn At Orlando Health Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, And Be Able To Think Critically And Make Quick Decisions In A Fast-Paced Environment.
