1. Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and patients.
2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks, and take appropriate corrective actions.
3. Collaborate with department managers and employees to identify safety concerns and develop solutions to address them.
4. Provide training and education to employees on safety protocols and procedures, including emergency response and disaster preparedness.
5. Monitor and track workplace injuries and illnesses, and develop strategies to reduce and prevent future incidents.
6. Stay up-to-date on all relevant safety regulations and guidelines, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
7. Serve as a resource for employees regarding safety-related questions and concerns.

9. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety programs and activities.

12. Continuously evaluate and improve safety processes and procedures to maintain a high standard of safety for all employees and patients.
13. Respond to emergency situations and provide support and guidance to ensure the safety of all individuals involved.
14. Collaborate with human resources to ensure proper handling of workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs.
15. Act as a role model for safety practices and promote a positive attitude towards safety among all employees.
