  1. Oversee the operation of the clinical observation unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care to patients.

  3. Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed to ensure high levels of patient care.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
  5. Maintain a safe and clean environment within the unit, adhering to all infection control and safety protocols.
  6. Manage staffing levels and schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and appropriate utilization of resources.
  7. Conduct regular rounds and provide oversight to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  8. Foster a positive and collaborative team atmosphere, promoting employee engagement, motivation, and development.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with patients and their families, providing support and addressing any concerns or issues.
  10. Stay current with industry trends and best practices, implementing changes and improvements as needed to enhance patient care.
  11. Manage budget and resources within the unit, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.
  12. Represent the organization in a professional manner, promoting its mission and values in all interactions.
  13. Participate in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new nursing staff, ensuring a strong and diverse team.
  14. Serve as a role model and mentor to nursing staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
  15. Collaborate with other healthcare leaders and departments to promote a seamless and coordinated approach to patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field: A Nursing Manager, Clinical Observation Should Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or A Related Field, As This Demonstrates A Strong Foundation In Basic Nursing Principles And Healthcare Management.

  • Active Nursing License: A Nursing Manager, Clinical Observation Must Hold An Active Nursing License In The State Of Florida, As This Is A Requirement For Overseeing Patient Care And Clinical Operations.
