  1. Provide compassionate care to patients with neurological conditions.
  2. Work collaboratively with a team of nurses and physicians to deliver exceptional patient care.
  3. Demonstrate a high level of empathy towards patients and their families.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  5. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  6. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  7. Help patients with mobility and transfers, and ensure their safety at all times.
  8. Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  9. Keep accurate and detailed patient records.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  11. Attend training and education sessions to stay updated on the latest advancements in neurology care.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  13. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing patient needs and schedules.
  14. Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing team.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) License: The Candidate Should Possess A Valid Cna License From The State Of Florida, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Competency In Basic Nursing Skills.

  • Prior Experience In Neurology: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Nursing Assistant In A Neurology Unit Or Similar Setting Is Preferred. This Will Showcase The Candidate's Understanding Of Neurological Disorders And Their Ability To Provide Specialized Care To Patients.

  • Knowledge Of Neurological Conditions: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Common Neurological Conditions, Such As Stroke, Epilepsy, And Spinal Cord Injuries. This Will Enable Them To Anticipate The Needs Of Patients And Provide Appropriate Care.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Working In A Neurology Unit Can Be Fast-Paced And Demanding. The Candidate Should Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously, Prioritize Effectively, And Remain Calm Under Pressure.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Good Communication Skills Are Essential For A Nursing Assistant, Especially In A Neurology Unit Where Patients May Have Difficulty Communicating. The Candidate Should Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Their Families, And The Healthcare Team To Ensure The Best Possible Care.
