
Nursing Assistant IMC

- Provide compassionate and dedicated care to patients in the Intermediate Care unit.
- Assist registered nurses and other healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care.
- Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff.
- Perform basic nursing procedures such as taking vital signs, measuring and recording intake and output, and assisting with activities of daily living.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, including changing linens and ensuring adequate supplies.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Participate in ongoing educational and training opportunities to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude while working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Act as a patient advocate and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by actively participating in team meetings and supporting colleagues.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) License In The State Of Florida.
Minimum Of 1 Year Experience As A Nursing Assistant In An Intermediate Care Or Similar Setting.
Current Bls (Basic Life Support) Certification.
