  1. Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  2. Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and feeding.
  3. Take and record vital signs accurately.
  4. Monitor patients' condition and report any changes to the nurse.
  5. Assist with transferring and positioning patients.
  6. Respond to patient calls and requests in a timely and compassionate manner.
  7. Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
  8. Prepare and maintain patient records and reports.
  9. Assist with procedures and treatments as directed by the nurse.
  10. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  11. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  12. Attend training and educational sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  13. Demonstrate a positive and compassionate attitude towards patients and their families.
  14. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide quality care.
  15. Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
  16. Follow Hospital and unit policies and procedures.
  17. Act as a patient advocate and ensure their needs are met.
  18. Attend staff meetings and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
  19. Continuously strive for personal and professional growth.
  20. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Nursing Assistant Certification: Candidates For This Position Should Have A Valid Certification As A Nursing Assistant From An Accredited Program.

  • Previous Experience In Icu: Prior Experience Working In An Intensive Care Unit Is Highly Preferred For This Role. Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Critical Care Procedures And Protocols.

  • Ability To Work Varied Shifts: This Position Requires Flexibility To Work Day, Evening, And Night Shifts As Needed. Candidates Must Be Able To Adapt To Changing Schedules And Work During Weekends And Holidays.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Nursing Assistants In The Icu Must Have Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Team Members. This Includes The Ability To Communicate Clearly And Empathetically In High-Stress Situations.

  • Physical Stamina And Strength: Working In The Icu Can Be Physically Demanding, So Candidates For This Position Should Have The Physical Stamina And Strength To Assist With Lifting, Moving, And Positioning Patients, As Well As Standing And Walking For Extended Periods Of Time.
