  1. Assist in providing compassionate care to patients in the Advanced Rehab unit, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
  2. Provide basic patient care, such as helping with personal hygiene, feeding, and transferring patients.
  3. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  4. Assist with patient mobility and rehabilitation exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
  5. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including changing linens and restocking supplies.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing emotional support and addressing any questions or concerns.
  7. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  8. Document patient care activities accurately and timely in medical records.
  9. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and trainings.
  10. Continuously strive for personal and professional development by seeking out learning opportunities.
  11. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  12. Display a positive and professional attitude, promoting a welcoming and caring environment for patients and their families.
  13. Adhere to patient confidentiality and privacy regulations.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Nursing Assistant Certification: Candidates Must Have A Valid Nursing Assistant Certification From An Accredited Program. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Proper Training And Has The Necessary Skills To Provide Patient Care.

  • Experience In Rehabilitation: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Rehabilitation Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting. This Experience Will Demonstrate Their Familiarity With The Unique Needs And Challenges Of Patients Undergoing Rehabilitation.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Equipment And Procedures: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Equipment Commonly Used In Rehabilitation, Such As Gait Belts, Transfer Boards, And Patient Lifts. They Should Also Be Familiar With Procedures Such As Wound Care, Range Of Motion Exercises, And Medication Administration.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Nursing Assistant In Advanced Rehab, It Is Essential To Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Members Of The Healthcare Team.

  • Physical Stamina And Strength: Candidates Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift And Move Patients Who May Have Limited Mobility. They Should Also Have The Stamina To Work Long Shifts And Perform Physically Demanding Tasks, Such As Assisting With Transfers And Ambulation.
