Nurse Resident, Neuro Step Down

1. Provide specialized care to patients in the Neuro Step Down unit.
2. Work collaboratively with experienced nurses to deliver exceptional patient care.
3. Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
4. Utilize critical thinking skills to assess patient needs and develop appropriate nursing care plans.
5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
6. Monitor patient progress and document observations accurately and timely.
7. Assist with patient education and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
8. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and implement patient care plans.
9. Demonstrate knowledge of neurology and stay updated on advancements in the field.
10. Act as a role model and mentor to new nursing staff and students.
11. Adhere to all organizational policies and regulations, including infection control and safety protocols.
12. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
13. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
14. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
