  1. Provide direct care to patients with cardiac conditions under the supervision of experienced nurses and healthcare professionals.
  2. Assist in performing diagnostic tests and procedures related to cardiac intervention.
  3. Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the healthcare team.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as directed by the healthcare team.
  5. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  6. Educate patients and their families on cardiac conditions, treatments, and prevention methods.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
  8. Follow all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  9. Participate in ongoing educational opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in cardiac intervention.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Enrollment In An Accredited Nursing Program: A Nurse Intern For Cardiac Intervention At Orlando Health Must Be Actively Enrolled In An Accredited Nursing Program, Demonstrating A Strong Foundation In Nursing Theory And Clinical Skills.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: As A Nurse Intern In A Fast-Paced Cardiac Intervention Environment, The Ability To Provide Basic Life Support In Emergency Situations Is Crucial. A Valid Bls Certification Is Required For This Position.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: The Role Of A Nurse Intern In Cardiac Intervention At Orlando Health Involves Working Closely With Other Healthcare Professionals, Patients, And Their Families. Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Essential In This Collaborative Environment.

  • Ability To Handle High-Stress Situations: Working In A Cardiac Intervention Unit Requires The Ability To Handle High-Stress Situations With Composure And Efficiency. A Nurse Intern Must Be Able To Remain Calm And Focused In Emergency Situations.

  • Familiarity With Cardiac Care And Equipment: A Nurse Intern At Orlando Health Should Have A Basic Understanding Of Cardiac Care Procedures And Equipment.
