  1. Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using state-of-the-art equipment.
  2. Administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications as required for imaging procedures.
  3. Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their safety and comfort during procedures.
  4. Accurately record and maintain patient information and imaging results.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  6. Follow established protocols and safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  7. Educate patients and their families about imaging procedures and answer any questions they may have.
  8. Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results.
  9. Keep abreast of advancements and changes in nuclear medicine technology and procedures.
  10. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  11. Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  12. Demonstrate professionalism and excellent communication skills when interacting with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA guidelines.
  14. Maintain flexibility and availability to work on an as-needed basis to ensure adequate coverage for the department.
  15. Continuously strive to improve patient care and efficiency in the workplace.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or A Related Field.

  • Certification By The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (Nmtcb) Or American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As A Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Radiation Safety Procedures And Protocols.
