- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using state-of-the-art equipment.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications as required for imaging procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their safety and comfort during procedures.
- Accurately record and maintain patient information and imaging results.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Follow established protocols and safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Educate patients and their families about imaging procedures and answer any questions they may have.
- Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results.
- Keep abreast of advancements and changes in nuclear medicine technology and procedures.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Demonstrate professionalism and excellent communication skills when interacting with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA guidelines.
- Maintain flexibility and availability to work on an as-needed basis to ensure adequate coverage for the department.
- Continuously strive to improve patient care and efficiency in the workplace.
Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification.
Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or A Related Field.
Certification By The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (Nmtcb) Or American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As A Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
Strong Knowledge Of Radiation Safety Procedures And Protocols.
