  1. Perform nuclear medicine procedures accurately and efficiently according to established protocols and procedures.
  2. Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and monitor their response.
  3. Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies in the nuclear medicine department.
  4. Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures, and take appropriate action if complications arise.
  5. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of procedures and patient information.
  6. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
  7. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment for patients and staff.
  8. Stay current on advancements and developments in nuclear medicine technology.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to provide exceptional patient care.
  10. Uphold the organization's values and mission in all interactions.
  11. Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  13. Assist in training and mentoring new nuclear medicine technologists.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  15. Attend continuing education and training opportunities to maintain certification and stay current in the field.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.

  • Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (Nmtcb).

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility.

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Operating Specialized Imaging Equipment And Software, Such As Pet/Ct, Spect/Ct, And Gamma Cameras.
